Is That a Threat?

In my last letter from Canada I was informed that, since it had been two weeks since Hannah had received a letter, I would now only be getting letters weeks that she receives letters.

In my defense I have been crazy busy, on top of that, Hannah's recent transfer cramped my style a bit.  I still think this ultimatum was a bit premature, I mean, I've only missed four total weeks, considering that we're approaching the half-way point, I'd say I'm doing pretty well!

are you so busy that you cant send a card or even a post card? i am sure she really looks forward to your correspondence and is disappointed when she doesnt get any.
do you want to write less(because you are so busy), but her maintain her regular writing schedule?
she is probably pretty busy too, but found the time to write.
return the favor.

Not really a fan of the tit for tat attitude haha. Sometimes life gets in the way!

Wow, singlemormonchick has some 'tude! I think you should write when you can, or when you get the feeling that you have something that needs to be shared. Don't get down on yourself because you haven't gotten a letter to her every single week. She knows you aren't perfect and she doesn't expect you to be either.

Ummm a tad controlling, don't you think? You know her better than anyone. That would annoy me...a lot.

Just curious: are you going to show Hannah your blog when she gets home?

I don't think it's controlling. To be honest, I'd probably say the same thing, my issue was just how quickly it came up, I would probably wait a month.

With regards to whether I'll show this to Hannah when she gets home, I might, I haven't decided what I'm going to do with this blog once the wait is over. I may just let it fade to obscurity while you, my followers, are left wondering what happens next.

I'm guessing she is trying to protect herself. You know, like if you aren't going to write her anymore she will start pulling away too so she doesn't get crushed by a "Dear Jane" or something like that.
